Our Sites

  • Frome Medical Practice

At Frome Medical Practice, we’ve established a mini community compost site to turn local food and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost. The staff use this compost to grow fresh produce on-site, creating a closed-loop system that reduces waste, improves soil health, and supports sustainable food production. This initiative not only aligns with the practice’s sustainability goals but also fosters a greener, healthier community.

  • Fair Frome

We’ve partnered with Fair Frome, a local food bank, to create a mini community compost site that turns food waste into nutrient-rich compost. Recently, Fair Frome started a community garden, where this compost is now used to grow fresh produce for the local community. This initiative not only reduces waste but also supports sustainable food production and strengthens community resilience. It’s a powerful step toward a greener future!

  • Broadway Community Gardens

In February 2023, Frome Town Council secured Broadway Community Gardens to boost food resilience, ecological diversity, and community wellbeing. We’ve set up a mini community compost site to transform local waste into nutrient-rich compost, supporting the garden’s growth and sustainability. This initiative encourages involvement, improves accessibility, and helps create a shared vision for a greener future.
