Food-waste Collection
We provide a food-waste collection service available to businesses in Frome. We offer bi-weekly collections on Wednesday and Friday. using an electric trike made by Cycles Maximus. The collections are dropped at our main hub in Victoria Park, composted using a Ridan, and then matured. Once complete, our living compost is distributed back into the community, regenerating local soil.
Pricing structure
We can adapt to the needs of your business, depending on how much un-transformed compost you have to offer:

Spore is our smallest offering. With this package you will receive a collection every other week, and one 30L bucket.
This is aimed at non-food based businesses, such as offices, co-working spaces, or shops.
£15 a calender month

Fungi is modest but admirable. Offering one collection a week, and up to three 30L buckets.
Enough for a small food-based business, or larger office space.
£35 a calendar month

Soil is the grand finale. Offering two collections a week, and up to five 30L buckets.
It is ideal for medium to large sized food based businesses.
£55 a calendar month

If these options don’t fit the needs of your business, we offer a Custom service that can be built specifically around you.
We can add extra buckets at the cost of £5 each, and our on call team can also be contacted if you need an early pick up.
Healing Soil
We stop food waste leaving the town where it would have entered landfill or become ‘scorched’ (turned into nutrient deficient matter and sold as compost).
By closing Frome’s food-waste loop, we transform this resource into a living bio-complete compost. This returns nutrients back to the Earth and regenerates local soil.
